Country Style Ribs
This country style ribs recipe is so easy and delicious. I've made it in the oven and in the slow cooker and both turned out great. If you do not have lemons you can substitute for lemon juice. We also leave out the onion and it still taste amazing.

  • (1 package) Country Style Ribs
  • (1) Lemon
  • (1/2) Onion chopped
  • (1 cup) Ketchup
  • (1/3 cup) Worcestershire Sauce
  • (1 teaspoon) Chili Powder
  • (1 teaspoon) Salt
  • (2 dashes) Tabasco Sauce
  • (1 1/2 cups) Water


Either in an oven safe dish or a slow cooker add your ribs and place your chopped onion and lemon slices on the ribs. 

Mix the remaining ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over the ribs, onion, and lemon.  

If baking in the oven, bake at 450 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until ribs are tender. 

If using a slow cooker, cook on low for 5-8 hours.  Ribs should be so tender they fall apart. 

Remove the lemon wedges before serving.  Use a ladle to add extra juice on the ribs once they are plated.
